What is a Faith Folder?

A Faith Folder is our version of a Lapbook^TM. Our Faith Folders are Catholic based and are used to teach and spread the Catholic Faith. They are sold as a digital product to be downloaded as a pdf file by the customer.

What is a Lapbook?^TM

A lapbook^TM is a tool used to showcase and consolidate material studied and learned on a given topic. A lapbook^TM is created from a file folder, refolded to create a book which can be held in the lap. Many different mini-books and other special projects are then stored and displayed in the lapbook^TM. Lapbooks^TM can be used for science, social studies, phonics, religion and so much more. The possibilities are endless!

What are Faith Rings?

Faith Rings are a new product available from Faith Folders for Catholics. Each ring holds a set of laminated cards on a variety of faith based topics. Examples include Catholic Prayers, Ten Commandments and Works of Mercy. These are sold as a finished product that will be shipped to the customer.

Advent: A Season of Joy and Preparation Faith Folder

This Faith Folder has a variety of components and activities, including an inserted page on the inside. This Faith Folder covers the traditions of the Advent Season, the signs and symbols seen during this special time of year, Advent Wreath Prayers, and a few of the Saints and Feast Days of the season.

In addition to information about the meaning of Advent, this Faith Folder includes several activities. An Advent calendar for keeping track of good deeds throughout Advent, a Jesse tree with symbols and a scripture booklet and a writing project with thoughtful reflection questions are included.

The activities and components can be easily adapted to fit a range of age and learning levels. Several options for each component are included. This Faith Folder is also easily personalized to showcase the creativity of the individual child.

If you purchased your copy of the Advent Faith Folder before November 7, 2009, and would like to use the Advent Faith Folder for Advent 2009, you need the Advent 2009 Supplement. Simply click here to download the ammended pages to the original file for free. If you purchased the Advent Faith Folder on or after November 7, 2009, you have the updated copy that has the 2009 readings. If you intend to use the Faith Folder with 10 or less children whether it be once or with the same group of children more than once, you only need to purchase one Regular Use copy of the Faith Folder.

Our suggested guideline is 10 uses per purchased copy. So, you can judge the number of copies necessary to purchase by your intended use.

If you plan to use the Faith Folder in a Parish, School, Coop or other large group setting and use it with more than one group or year after year, you need to purchase the Large Group Use copy of the Faith Folder.

You receive the same file regardless of the Usage Option, you're just buying the rights to print the file multiple times and use it for multiple purposes. Please use your own judgement as to which option you need and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
