What is a Faith Folder?

A Faith Folder is our version of a Lapbook^TM. Our Faith Folders are Catholic based and are used to teach and spread the Catholic Faith. They are sold as a digital product to be downloaded as a pdf file by the customer.

What is a Lapbook?^TM

A lapbook^TM is a tool used to showcase and consolidate material studied and learned on a given topic. A lapbook^TM is created from a file folder, refolded to create a book which can be held in the lap. Many different mini-books and other special projects are then stored and displayed in the lapbook^TM. Lapbooks^TM can be used for science, social studies, phonics, religion and so much more. The possibilities are endless!

What are Faith Rings?

Faith Rings are a new product available from Faith Folders for Catholics. Each ring holds a set of laminated cards on a variety of faith based topics. Examples include Catholic Prayers, Ten Commandments and Works of Mercy. These are sold as a finished product that will be shipped to the customer.

The Year For Priests Faith Folder

This Faith Folder is in recognition of the Year For Priests as declared by Pope Benedict XVI from June 19, 2009 to June 19, 2010. Topics covered include facts about the Year For Priests, St. John Vianney, discernment, vocations and lots of facts and information about the priesthood.

This Faith Folder features two inserted pages with lots of information, activities and thought provoking material. There are 26 mini-books included with this Faith Folder.

Several options are included for the various books. The activities are easily adapted for a variety of age levels. The Faith Folder is also easily adaptable to allow for personalization and creative style.

This Year for Priests Faith Folder is dedicated in Memory of Ryan Barrett. Ryan passed away on August 13, 2009 at the age of 14 from a grand mal seizure while on a father-son camping trip. Although I don't know the family well, I have been forever touched by their story and the beautiful faith of this young man. Ryan was autistic and his mother, Mary Ellen, wrote beautifully of their life and journey. One very touching story, "A Vocation for Ryan" by Mary Ellen at Catholic Exchange, testified to Ryan's attraction to religious life from a very young age. Could he have been a priest some day? Perhaps. But, after reading stories and testimonies since Ryan's death, I believe he just might be a priest, drawing us closer to Christ through his story, from Heaven. God works in mysterious ways. I feel very strongly that we will be hearing more about this little priest from Heaven and that Ryan Barrett's story is just beginning. Many other people have been touched by this story and wanted to help. The family requested that donations be made in Ryan's memory to two different charities. I have decided to donate 50% of the proceeds from the sale of the Year for Priests Faith Folder to the charities chosen by Ryan's family: Autism Speaks and The Friar Suppliers. As part of this dedication, I have included a series of dedication and information pages about Ryan at the beginning of the Year for Priests Faith Folder file. If you intend to use the Faith Folder with 10 or less children whether it be once or with the same group of children more than once, you only need to purchase one Regular Use copy of the Faith Folder.

Our suggested guideline is 10 uses per purchased copy. So, you can judge the number of copies necessary to purchase by your intended use.

If you plan to use the Faith Folder in a Parish, School, Coop or other large group setting and use it with more than one group or year after year, you need to purchase the Large Group Use copy of the Faith Folder.

You receive the same file regardless of the Usage Option, you're just buying the rights to print the file multiple times and use it for multiple purposes. Please use your own judgement as to which option you need and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
